Get inspiration and ideas for innovative projects.
INPUT DATA:
156 central office employees, 7 top managers.
The event lasts 7 hours.
The first two hours are speeches of top managers about the current situation, then a business game.
Need for TOP managers to observe employee engagement and activity and idea generation.
The need to include 10 facilitators from among the company's employees, for whom such experience will be new.
SOLUTION: We developed a business game from a series of stages, which had a playful framework in the form of a "Journey for Ideas". Participants prepared luggage, familiarized themselves with the in-flight media program, were inspired by ideas from 3 different cities, answered questions about business companies and created their innovative projects.
ROADMAP: Step 1 - Preparing for the flight. Getting to know 10 fellow travelers in virtual cockpits (at tables). Assessing the flight requirements: analyzing the constraints and risks that exist in the company. Baggage collection: summarizing all the resources that the company has for development. In this step, an electronic tool for collecting ideas was used and the results were broadcast on a shared screen.
Step 2 - Boarding the plane and getting to know the media program on board. Speeches by an expert futurologist on trends of the future. Answers to questions. Exercises to develop openness to new things.
Step 3 - Landing in the first city. Live broadcast. Getting to know the discoveries and achievements in the science center. Developing the creativity of the participants. Crazy brainstorming for innovative ideas for the company.
Step 4 - Flight and landing in the second city - the local capital of modern art. Live from the city and get acquainted with the transformation of the city, thinking and development of non-standard artistic thinking. Selecting key innovative projects and creating prototypes of project ideas from improvised materials. Presentation of projects to get developmental feedback from partner teams.
Step 5 - Flight and landing in the third city. Live broadcast from the city and immersion in the life of the technical center - innovation aggregator, the path from idea to implementation. Teams work on detailing projects and preparing them for final electronic and video presentations. Voting for outstanding projects.
Step 6 - Summarizing the results of the journey. Highlighting the brightest project ideas and thanking TOP teams for their involvement in the business game. Returning home. Sharing impressions of the trip.
RESULTS: 1. Participants in a creative and intensive experience, got to know each other, strengthened team communication, and experienced engaging interactions 2. Participants were inspired by domestic experiences of urban development and achievement 3. Developed 20 innovative project ideas in 4 areas of business development 4. Gained experience of support from the TOP-team.
