Leroy Merlin Case Study: Graduation of Leadership Program Participants

CUSTOMER: Leroy Merlin is an international retailer specializing in the sale of products for construction, decoration and home, cottage and garden improvement. Leroy Merlin helps people all over the world to improve their homes and quality of life.

REQUEST: to develop and conduct a bright, non-standard, stylish offline event for store directors who have been trained at the Academy as a graduation event at the end of the program.

OBJECTIVES:
  • open dialog with company executives;
  • networking between participants;
  • reflection of the Academy training results;
  • understanding how to work effectively in the "lonely role of a store director" due to entrepreneurial spirit and excitement, community, ability to work in a situation of constant change, etc.;
  • reflection and encouragement to move forward;
  • meeting with bright inspirational speakers.

DECISION:
A cosmic event!
Both in theme and atmosphere.

40 graduates, 20 guests, 2 top managers, 2 guest speakers, 1 astronaut, 180 tubes of space food :)
8 hours of joint work that flew by in one breath.

Like astronauts, the participants summarized the results of their long training, passed tests on team "space simulators", talked about the peculiarities of leadership in times of change and the entrepreneurial spirit, which is the fuel on the way to new galaxies. They met with their fears and doubts and successfully overcame them. They found their guiding star, made a personal "warp jump", answering the challenge of the Universe.
And all this surrounded by art objects, live music, performers, and words of advice from the cosmonaut
RESULT:
  • energized inspiration;
  • lively connections;
  • A personal dream to move toward in a new role with the company.
